Because Rover ceased production of its historic V8 engine in 2003, Morgan celebrated the car's 35-year run (1968–2003) by building a limited number of Anniversary Editions. Out of 185 total anniversary units built, only 100 were allocated to the United States market, making them instant collectibles that sold out before ever reaching dealership floors.
Distinguishing features of the 35th Anniversary Edition include:
